Young soldier proposes to girlfriend during National Day festivities

A surprising event has taken place in Oradea on National Day. A young soldier has asked his girlfriend to marry him.

While festivities were taken place in Oradea, Adrian Pal has asked the prefect to allow him to take the microphone. The soldier said

On 25th of October 2012 I took my oath of allegiance. Today 1st of December 2017 in front of you and everyone I want to take my oath of love.

In that moment the soldier went down on his knee and said to his girlfriend

I swear to love you with all my heart, all my soul and all my strength. So help me God. Miss Tarau Minodora Maria, do you want to be my wife?

The girl said yes and everyone applauded. The young couple are both 24 years old and they live in Oradea. They have known each other since they were in the 9th grade at the same high school. They have been together for 2 years and 8 months.
