There are many great Romanian photographers. One of them, Gheorghe Popa has just received an honorable mention in a National Geographic competition.
The photographer has received the distinction for a photo he has taken in Garcina, which is located in Neamt county. The photo was included in the Landscapes category of the National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition.
Gheorghe Popa only started doing photography in 2014 and according to Romania Insider “This opened up the love for nature and traveling more. And also a desire to continuously learn and discover”.
Since then, he has now many awards, such as the Milvus Photography in 2017 and he was mentioned in National Geographic several times.
