Three Romanians have been invited to participate in the Berlin Talents film festival program

Several Romanian actors have been invited to participate in the Berlinale Talents Film festival. Actress Alina Grigore, scriptwriter Ioan Antoci and movie critic Flavia Dima are among the 250 people who have been chosen from 81 countries to participate in this programme. The programme takes place between February 17-22.

Alina Grigore is well known for her parts in TV shows such as Poor man, rich man, The Angels, Aniela, Aurora and for movies such as Ilegitim. The Ilegitim movie has received the Confederation Internationale des Cinema d’Art et d’Essai prize.

Flavia Dima has been a movie critic and has been a member of the movie selection board for the Piatra movie festival, Piatra Neamt and she was a member of the Emille Cantillon jury within the French International movie in Namur, Belgium. Ioan Antoci, is a scriptwriter who has previously won an award for the best script for Central and East of Europe in Cannes, 2009 with the story of an old man who loses his house during a flood. His script has been made into a movie entitled The Japanese dog directed by Tudor Giurgiu.

Previously, Romania was represented by many actors in this competition such as Cosmina Stratan, Ana Ularu, Dragos Bucur and Alexandru Potocean.
