The amazing Romanian handball team AHC Potaissa from Turda has won the Men’s Challenge Cup last weekend.
The team has played the final game with AEK Athens from Greece, winning the first leg in Romania with 11 goals, however losing the second leg with a score of 27-26. Although the team has been defeated by the Greeks, they have won the European championships. This is a historical moment for them as they have won the European championship for the first time. Last year the team was also close to the finals, however, they have lost it to Sporting CP from Portugal. This month another Romanian team has won the Women’s EHF Cup- SCM Craiova
