Romanian director Anca Damian has participated in the Warsaw movie festival where her movie ” Moon Hotel Kabul” was nominated. The director was accompanied by Florin Piersic Junior, who played the main role and Alexandru Nagy.
The movie was made in 2017 and it is focused on the store of a journalist who meets a female translator which whom he has an affair for one night in Kabul. The translator dies as soon as Ivan, the journalist comes back to Bucharest, however, mysteriously her activity and life keep coming back into his life.
Not only Romanian movie Moon Hotel Kabul was present at the festival, but also “Thou shalt not kill” by Catalin Rotaru and Gabi Virginia Sarga. Romanian director Andrei Hutuleac, who has won the short movie edition in 2017 with the movie “Offstage” was also part of the jury.
The Warsaw International Film Festival started in 1985 and is classified amongst class A film festivals.
