Romanian school books have been under scrutiny lately, however, not all of them contain mistakes. A Romanian book dedicated to the subject of Geography has recently won the bronze award at the International Book Fair In Frankfurt.
The Fair hosts the Best European Learning Materials 2018. The book was created by Silviu Negut, Carmen Camelia Radulescu and Ionut Popa and it was published by Art publishing house. It is the first time a Romanian schoolbook has received an award. The book is used in schools to teach 5th graders. It has won the Ministry of Education’s auction in 2017 between six textbooks.
