Romania in top 10 most welcoming countries in the world, according to Booking.com

If you met Romanians you knew how friendly and welcoming they are. Now statistics prove that Romania is indeed a welcoming country. Travel site booking. com has made a list of the most welcoming countries in the world and to no surprise, Romania was included in top ten. The top was made according to customer reviews. Therefore, the most welcoming countries in the wrold are:

Austria

Czech republic

Poland

New Zeeland

Taiwan

Romania

Hungary

Ireland

Serbia

Greece

The site also created a top of the most welcoming destinations which were: Goreme (Turkey), Slunj (Croatia), Eluanbi (Taiwan), Niagara on the Lake (Canada), Lake Tekapo (New Zealand), Bendigo (Australia), Newport (United States), Nozawa Onsen (Japan), Fernando de Noronha (Brazil) and El Chalten (Argentina). The tops are important as many tourists care about selecting a friendly destination and nice locals when choosing a travel destination. Countries that have reached the top have to have an above average amount of winners which is around 4,000 award recipients. Properties included must have a 8.0 or higher review score.
