Romanian team wins the gold medal at the Robotics Championships in South Korea

Autovortex robotic team has done it again! The Romanian team has won the gold medal and the Winning Alliance Award at the Robotics Championships in South Korea.

Recently the team has also participated in a special programme in Romania called “Nation through Education”. Once the Autovortex team has reached the finals of the competition they have decided to create an alliance with Quantum Robotics, which is also a Romanian Robotics team. Together they have won the championship. Apart from this, one of the team members, Victor has also won the Captain of Alliance and Connect Award.

Not only Autovortex has won all the prizes, but another Romanian team called Qube has also won the Design award. Dana Razboiu, one of the founders of the Nation through Education association stated that the students traveled for 24 hours to only spend 4 days in South Korea. It was rather difficult to go through the airport due to the robots. Nevertheless, despite being tired the students have managed to win.
Dana Razboiu noted that Romanians are very good at innovation and they are creative, although the educational system does not encourage innovation and creativity.
