The largest planetarium in Romania will open in Brasov this month. The planetarium can be vizited within the Brasov zoo and it will have shows that focus on astronomy, geography and biology.
The shows will be 30-40 minutes long and visitors will be able to view animations that explain meterology effects, astronomy or biology. The planetarium costed 8 milion lei to build and it has been under construction since last year.
The place has modern equipment, 4K video projection, conversion and mask optic accessories. The capacity is of 103 seats compared to other planetariums which normally have 50 seats. The building has also access for people with disabilities and also has an elevator.
The organizers are hoping to atract more students from the area and to help teachers with their subjects.
